About Dr. Kristy Farris MD

Kristy Farris is a charismatic and philanthropic orthopaedic surgeon serving her patients and her community in San Jose, CA. Dr. Farris is certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery and is affiliated with the Good Samaritan Hospital, the O’Connor Hospital, and the Silicon Valley Surgery Center. She assists her community, providing orthopaedic coverage for the West Valley Communities College and Archbishop Mitty High School. Dr. Farris earned her medical degree from the University of Memphis and attended the University of Alabama and Tennessee to complete her orthopaedic surgery residency program. She has been in practice since 2008, and she currently owns and practices at the OrthoKristy Bone and Joint Center. She sees patients experiencing shoulder, leg, elbow, ankle, wrist, and back problems; degenerative diseases; sports injuries; and hip and knee problems. In her spare time, Dr. Farris is a private pilot. She enjoys cooking and cycling, loves traveling and golfing. Her approach to golf is admirable: although self-proclaimed herself “the worst golfer you will ever meet,” she continues to golf and finds pleasure in her improvement and humor in her shortcomings.
